Heat insulation

The appropriate heat insulation of energy systems is determined based on the technical requirements that need to be fulfilled, in order to achieve efficient use of power and energy in buildings as well as outside, in the area of heat protection, heating, cooling, ventilation or any combination of these.

Heat insulation materials can be categorized based on their chemical composition and structure. For the purpose of insulating energy systems, we mostly use mineral wool (rock and glass wool) as well as ceramic fiber wool and foam glass. If needed, the insulation material is further protected by sheet metal of various materials and thicknesses. The temperature range of use reaches up to +1400°C.
